Demonstration flights are available most weekends at Harnett County Airport, the club's base of operations. These flights are given in our club's Blanik L-13 sailplane by our FAA certified pilots. Our sailpanes are fully insured and inspected yearly by the FAA. The best opportunities to fly are in the morning before 11 am or in the afternoon a couple of hours before sunset.

The cost of the ride is $60 and the flight lasts approximately half an hour.

Please understand that our club is not a commercial operation. All club operatons are on a first come-first serve basis, student training takes precedence, and club members have priority. Rides are also given on a first come-first serve basis so that the possibility exist that you may not get a chance to fly, we can usually accommodate guest. When you get to the airport, do not drive onto the field. Park at the main airport building and ask the helpful people inside how best to get to the glider staging area.
